Hi, I'm Jade a jewel and hidden gem! I'm told to have the cutest meow and I'm definitely not shy communicating with my foster parents or any visitor. I will greet every new person at the door and follow what's going on from my favorite spot.
My foster parents are going to video tape my meow soon, when I'm in the mood to demonstrate it in front of the camera. I'm a normal, happy, sleepy, playful cat and I'm looking for my own home - forever for sure this time.
My previous owner of many years dropped me off at the shelter on his way to the airport and to a new life in a different state without me. I might have been an inconvenience to him but a SOS volunteer didn't hesitate for a second to take me with him. A cat like me would not do well in the shelter, he said. He was nice enough not to mention that I'm on the heavier side and my fur on my back being completely matted.
I had an appointment at the rescue vet the very next day, where I got poked for my shots, blood drawn for the FeLV/FIV test, and endured the vet exam like a champ. In addition, I received a manicure (trim of my nails) and grooming.
During a visit of family bringing an unfamiliar dog, I also showed how good I am with dogs on top of being great with all the furry siblings of all shapes, sizes, and both genders in my foster home.
If you would like to meet me please contact us by email info@SOScatrescueAZ.org, call us at (520) 445-3889, or fill out an adoption application, and you will be contacted about meet-and-greet possibilities. Thank you, Jade.
