We may be a bit biased in our opinion but we think EVERY day is love's holiday in the company of a beloved fur baby. We have a fun loving little girl we'd like to introduce you too. Bernice! Now there may not be a lot of closing of eyes except at nap and bed time because she's more fun loving than couch potato loving. Our fun loving Bernice is an 8 month old black lab mix. She currently weighs 40 lbs and will likely grow to be around 45lbs. This precious girl loves a variety of activities to include swimming, playing (of course), and going for walks. Bernice also enjoys a variety of friends. She is great with other dogs, cats, kids, and big people. She just loves having fun and she really doesn't care who it's with, it's all a good time to her. Bernice is already house and crate trained. (GOOD GIRL!!) Her foster mom says she is a wonderful young pup learning all the ropes of being a good family companion. Her doting foster mom also points out that she has been a hoot to train and work with. Labs are known to be fun loving family members and Bernice has earned her Labby gold stars on all counts. Of course not even a lab can run around and have a party 24 hours a day, they too must rest. Bernice loves quiet time with her people because that usually means cuddles, snuggles, kisses, and hugs sitting on the couch watching a good movie and maybe getting a little popcorn! (not too much though). Inside this fun loving exterior lives a little girl who loves to love and be loved so affection is a must in her forever home. Bernice is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. This baby girl is pretty well rounded in character and personality. There is a time for fun and activity and a time to settle down, she does well in both arenas. Like we said, closed eyes won't be the majority of her time but opened or closed she'll be right there by your side. She will prove to be a loyal forever friend always there, a shoulder to share, ears to listen, and a tail that will infinitely wag her constant pleasure just because she's with.....YOU!!
If interested in meeting any of these babies, send an email to friendsofjcas@gmail.com for an application. Adoption fees covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, wormers and preventatives and range from $50-$125. All of our animals have been heart worm tested and are on monthly preventions.
