Torrie came to us via the Downey Shelter. Her owner could not afford treatment for her skin condition so DDR took her in (her skin condition is simply, Demodex, or a local mange that is not contagious, easily treatable, common to pit type puppies, and should not return once treated). Right away we could tell that Torrie had been very loved by her previous owner who was teaching her basic puppy obedience. She is a smart girl who loves to play with all dogs and is good with cats and children. Torrie has an easy going temperament and enjoys relaxing on the deck with her foster family. She is already house- broken and crate-trained at only 5 months old! She now weighs 30 lbs. and should be a medium sized dog fully grown no more than 50 or 60 pounds. Well rounded pups like Torrie do not come along every day! Torrie is micro-chipped and up-to-date with vaccines. She will be spayed once her skin condition clears.
