Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey, people. Skeety here. My older brother, Odie, and I were dropped off at the kill shelter in the summer of 2015. Our family moved and they couldn’t take us with them, so … Yeah, let’s not dwell on it. It is what it is. We recently lost Odie to cancer, but I am safe and sound and ready to move on.
I’m an outgoing, silly boy around 4-5 years old who was, unfortunately, heartworm positive. I was treated with slow-kill methods and bazinga! I beat it! I’m now heartworm negative!
I’m up to date on shots, neutered, sweet and love to have fun. My favorite thing to do is go for walks and stare up at the skies and trees for critters. Silly squirrels … Bring it on! Well, OK, maybe in a few weeks when I’m over this treatment stuff … Yuk.
Even though I arrived with my brother, I’m really better off an only-dog. What can I say, I prefer to be the center of attention.
