Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Georgia is a purebred, black & tan, female bloodhound, age 2 years. She was purchased to be a working dog, but doesn't have the drive to work. Her previous owner put her in a small kennel run when he realized she would not work in harness and that is where Georgia spent the last year and a half of her life. In trying to get out of her kennel, she has broken or pulled out many of her teeth. She has few social skills, so is having to learn to trust humans and to interact with other dogs and animals. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and healthy. She is a very sweet girl with everyone and everything; however, she is extremely shy and is easily scared by loud noises and sudden movements. Therefore, we do not feel she would do well in a home with boisterous children. She is good on a leash and tries hard to please her humans. She has shown absolutely no signs of aggressive behavior toward anyone or anything. She needs a loving family to help her learn to be a famiy companion. Georgia is fostered in eastern TN.
