Sunshine's Story...
Adoption fee on this dog is $300.

Sunshine is an adorable white female shepherd with a nice coat. She is approximately 5 years old, a decent sized girl weighing in at 75lbs. Sunshine was an unclaimed stray so not much is known about her background.

Sunshine was originally on the adoption floor, but soon became stressed in her kennel, and was made available to rescue. She was a shelter favorite, known to be friendly with the dogs and people she met.

Sunshine is new in her foster home, more will be written as we get to know her better.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunshine, a Sacramento German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
