Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bunny was adopted from a local shelter at the approximate age of 6 months as a companion for an elderly gentleman. She was beginning special training to become a therapy dog when the gentleman unfortunately passed away. Bunny is now about 2 1/2 years old and is looking for a new home and family.
Bunny is good with people of all ages. Since her adoption from the shelter she has been in a loving home and has done well with elderly people and with children of different ages. She is okay with strangers in social settings, but protective of the house when someone knocks on the door. She is respectful of the home, is house trained, crate trained and can be left alone in the house.
We don't know how Bunny would be with cats, but she is good with other dogs, both large and small. She has lived with dogs and currently shares a home (often a couch) with two senior chihuahuas.
Bunny is an active girl who loves to play and run. She will enjoy joining you on hikes, probably pulling on the leash to set a faster pace. She knows several commands – sit, stay, salute, and will come to claps. She is willing to please and to learn.
Bunny is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations She has no past or current health problems, no special foods or medications. She weighs about 60 lbs.
