Hi There,
My name is Coal and I am a 4 year old male mini Schnauzer who weighs 14 lbs. Coal is the name my foster mom gave me since I am totally black in color.
I was found lost in a cornfield in central Indiana and taken by the warden to the county shelter. It was a small, quiet shelter and the volunteers were so good to me. The ladies contacted Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati and within a couple days, my foster mom to be came and pulled me. I am now in Cincinnati and have four schnauzer brothers who are my best friends and a foster mom and dad.
I was so dirty and matted and even had an old fishing line wrapped around one of my legs so the groomer had to shave me. My fur is already growing back and is so shiny in only a few weeks. I have learned the doggie doors and know they lead to a huge yard where I can run and play....remember, not long ago I was a puppy, so I do like a lot of exercise and a fenced yard. I am totally housebroken and know basic commands. Also, I have all my shots now and even had my teeth cleaned.
It would be so awesome just to stay here; but then that would be one less space for another rescue to come in.
I would really love a forever home of my own...my fee is only $300....thanks for reading my story! Coal
