Bodie's Story...
Meet Bodie! Don't tell him that he is 8 years old, he still thinks he's 4! He's got energy enough to take long walks and play around with other dogs, yet he's old enough that he's not going to chew your furniture or shoes. Bodie likes other dogs his size and always carries with him a smile and a tail wag. He's playful, affectionate, eager to please and loving. Bodie would be happy to help you run errands or hang out with you while you watch your favorite show. No matter what you're doing, he'll be your loyal shadow. Bodie loves dogs and people. Older children Ok. Sorry, no kitties please. Age 8 years. 65 Lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bodie, a Washoe Valley American Bulldog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Boxer for sale in Washoe Valley, or seeking a American Bulldog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Washoe Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washoe Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washoe Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Boxer breeders who help with American Bulldog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washoe Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
