Felix was adopted to a man who, it turns out, had a good front. We thought this was a great match. He was soooo in love with 5 mo old Felix. Well that was 4.5 years ago, and now his dad dumped him back since he and his GF are running a new business that will have them traveling 3-6 mo. back and forth from Europe. They had no one to give Felix too. Another inconvenient dumping of a wonderful dog. Meet amazing Felix.
He is 5 yrs old now, great with people, lived with a cat, good with dogs. He often played with friends' smaller dogs a lot.
He had been relegated to the backyard because the GF thought he was stinky. Well, so would she if she was left in the darn backyard. Many times they'd just leave him inside for 10-12 hrs. When they came home, they only had time for each other.
Well, Felix is so much better then them. He is a fabulous, well-trained, well behaved American Bulldog/Lab mix (maybe a tad Dane too). Look at him. He is soooo cute. He looks like a tuxedo cat.
He is looking for REAL love. Will it be you.

About Death Row Dogs Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected and abused dogs in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
Whenever possible when we have space and funds, we take dogs out of the city and county shelters who are on "death row" and are about to be euthanized.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Normally all our dogs are seen by appointment only.

Our Adoption Process...

An adoption application must be filled out prior to meeting any of our dogs.
Please call or e-mail us for an application.
An adoption contract will be signed, a home check will be done, and a donation is required upon adoption and placement of the dog.
Our adoptions are only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
There is NO guarantee made, express or implied, that any person requesting to adopt a dog through DRD Rescue, will automatically be approved. All adoptions are subject to acceptance based on a review process that requires collecting information and visiting the applicant's home. Decisions on placing dogs in adoptive and foster homes are based solely on the judgment of DRD Rescue’s volunteers and coordinators, and adoption applications may be denied for various reasons. DRD Rescue reserves the right to refuse to adopt to anyone without disclosing the reasons, and to make all decisions regarding placement or final disposition of any rescued dog in its care whether in, or being placed in, a foster or adoptive home.
