My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED!! Sadie is a Welsh cross pony mare. She's 11 hands high and in good condition. She's adorable, but was literally spoiled into having some bad manners that resulted in her family no longer being able to keep her.

With a volunteer trainer, Sadie has come a long way since she first came in! She is now being ridden comfortably at a walk, trot, and canter both indoors and outdoors! She even had a kid on her and went on a trail ride on Middlefork--crossing water, big logs, and keeping up with the big horses with no problems. She is still green but at this time we believe an advanced beginner or intermediate child can handle riding her. She would be a heck of a pony club mount for the teen who wants to go-go-go and do it all! She still has some bratty pony behavior when in her stall so needs an adult around to supervise.

This past winter Sadie was fostered by a riding facility and has greatly improved as a riding pony; she has also been started driving!

Sadie's adoption fee is $500.
