We would like to thank Angela Boone of Angela Boone Photography in Roseville, Minnesota for generously donating the photos of Jordy displayed here. Visit her website.

Sweet Jordy was picked up by animal control as he was wandering in the country. Our best guess is that he is around ten or eleven years old. Jordy is a dear senior guy who is adjusting to the indoor life at his foster home and is enjoying it!

Jordy gets along well with the foster family's resident small dogs, and he is learning to live with cats. He will back off quickly if they hiss and stand up to him. Jordy walks perfectly on leash and loves taking strolls, meeting the neighbors along the way. His favorite pastime is sniffing around the fenced yard, but in true Springer fashion, he loves following his person around, too.

Because he can no longer hear and his peripheral vision is impaired, a home without children would be best for Jordy. He does well with hand signals and will Sit, Lie Down, and Stay. As he is deaf, he will need a securely fenced yard to keep him safe. Jordy is truly the sweetest of sweethearts, and he is so easy to have around. Do you have a soft place in your heart and your home for Jordy to spend his retirement years? He is being fostered in Baraboo, WI.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Jordy.
