Scrappy's Story...
MOAS recently took in two...umm.....short, large breed dogs. I think that is the best way to describe them! They look like Rottweilers with no legs. We named them Scooby and Scrappy, and they were owner surrendered to animal control, and then brought to our shelter. They are very sweet, and all they want is someone to love on. Their adoption fees are $85.00 each and that fee covers their Neuter, Age appropriate vaccinations, and registered microchips. Come by and meet these handsome boys Wednesday Thru Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danielsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danielsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Rottweiler breeders who help with Basset Hound/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danielsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
