My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherbert the love bug was found outside in early May unable to walk properly. He most likely was hit by a car. A rescue group was called and Sherbert was taken to the vet, after xrays and exam it was determined he had a broken pelvis. We were contacted to see if we had space for him and we did. After more xrays it was thought that the best thing to do was crate rest. Sherbie spent 9 weeks in a crate. He has done a super job of getting himself healed. Follow up xrays show a nice healing callus. He is able to walk and jump pretty normally. He has even gotten some arch back to his tail and can hold it up high and move it around. Sherbert is all vetted and ready to go now. He may have some problems with arthritis in the future but other than that, he is a normal cat now. Sherbie has never met a cat he doesn't like. He would do great with a buddy or by himself. He is very affectionate and likes to be held and petted and loved on. Sherbert is in a foster home. Visitation is by appointment only.
