My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Indy is a "parti poodle" mix. He is approx 29 lbs and 3 years old. He is a really sweet dog who loves being with people, loves attention, gets along with other dogs, loves to go on walks and ride in the car, and will sit up on the back seat and just look out of the window as good as can be. He will run to the door when you get ready to leave as he wants to go with you, so for this reason, he would need a family that does not have small children that would leave doors open for him to get out. He seems to be very well house trained and will run into an open crate to sleep> He is very quiet and well behaved and is just a super dog
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
