My name is Farley and I am a 6 month old Golden Retriever Mix, I was surrendered to animal control by my family why they did that I do not know but thankfully my stay there was not long and a CAA Rescue volunteer scooped me up and brought me into foster care
Now I live with my foster daddy and other doggies
I am a 6 month old goofy puppy who will require basic 101 obedience, leash training and house training
Otherwise I am a happy boy!
I do have some bumps on my belly and when I left the pound I went straight to the vet, a scratch test was done and there were no parasites found. The very nice vet said that the bumps are from spending too much time in a dirty place with poor hygiene ... so if you consider meeting me for adoption please note that right now you will have to pay extra special attention to keeping the area clean and dry
At approximately 6 months old I am a little too skinny and only weighing in at 26lbs, so I will require my new family to feed me a high quality diet to make up for lost time and because of this it is hard to know how much I will grow in the future. Impossible to know if I will be a medium or large adult
One thing is for sure ... I have a lot of catching up to do and am looking for a special family who can do this with me.
Being a golden mix I am an active dog who like to walk, run and play so I will need a completely secure back yard along with an active family outside of the city who wants to take me on new adventures
I have not been tested with cats or children ... I did meet some and was very friendly but it was in a controlled environment so there is no way to know how I would respond to living in a home with either or both of these
