Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maverick. He and his sister were dumped at an EMS station out in the country. Both pups were a bit dehydrated and scared and Maverick had a significant number of other wounds on his body and could not walk. After a veterinary exam and xrays is was discovered that Maverick's hips were broken in three places. He is expected to make a full recovery but will be staying at our vet's office until completely healed - so about a month. Maverick is about 3 months old, very sweet with a submissive personality and though a bit confused right now he is doing well with his new surroundings. He loves toys, listens well, is very affectionate, is great with other dogs, seems to know what a crate is but really doesn't like to be away from people right now. Maverick would make a great new family member or companion. Maverick just arrived 8/23/15 but won't be ready to go until his hips are all healed; but if you are interested in adopting please contact us for an application.
