My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Tristan, the only Californian rabbit at the shelter. My markings on my nose, ears, feet and tail were developed in California in the 1930s and they make me unique. I am a big boy who really enjoys having a run around the shelter, now and then, as the bunny greeter, but I have been here so long, it would be nice to move on to greener pastures. The dwarfs and lop-eared rabbits grab all the attention, but they are not true natives like myself. Our breed slogan is ”From East Coast to West, Californians are the Best”.
