Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet little Polly was found abandoned on a busy street. The person who found her took her in, gave her a much needed bath, and posted signs around the neighborhood hoping someone would claim her. After several days with no response to his flyers, he contacted DREAM asking if we could take in this sweet senior girl who was badly in need of dental care. Polly's mouth was in such bad shape that her saliva had a green tinge to it. We can't imagine how painful her teeth and mouth must have been. Our vet said it was one of the worst cases she'd ever seen. After Polly's "extreme dental" (all but two teeth had to be removed), Polly's kisses are much sweeter now. Polly still needs to be spayed and have a large, mothball-sized, hernia repaired, but we are holding off on those surgeries until she is fully recovered from her dental surgery. We are including Polly's "before" pictures as an example of how bad your dog's teeth can get without proper dental care.
