Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Romi - 3 year old female purebred Miniature Schnauzer. Romi was turned into a shelter by her owners because they said she was “throwing up and had diarrhea”, they also mentioned they had a new baby and could not afford to take her to the vet. She was only available to rescue because she was sick. Romi was taken directly to the vet, she had xrays, blood work and a fecal done and no underlying problems were found, she was put on a special diet and given meds, but she has never threw up or had any diarrhea while in our care. Since she seemed healthy enough we proceeded with spaying her, getting her a dental and taking care of a umbilcal cord hernia repair, she is now ready for a new home! She is no longer on a special diet or meds, but we will say that Romi is a picky eater. It took us a while to find a food that she would eat consistantly. We also think part of it is behavioral from being an only dog and being used to be a "free feeder" rather than on a schedule. Romi has natural ears and a docked tail and weighs approximately 15 pounds.
