Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scout is a beautiful 1.7 year old Jack Russell Terrier boy. He is current on all vet work and is healthy and frisky. Scout is not a "bounce off the wall" Jack. He is all about being with his owner and snuggling. Even though he loves going for walks and playing in the yard, he is most comfortable and happy just doing things with his owner. He is well behaved and does not chew up or destroy things when left alone. Like many JRTs he has had a couple of instances with resource guarding. He will do best with someone who is used to that JRT personality and who will be patient and loving with his terrier ways. He would like a female dog to play with, but will also be happy as an only dog because he will love all the attention. If you are interested in adopting Scout please fill out the online application at russellrescue.com. Scouts adoption fee is $200. Scout needs a home with no kids and no cats. We will not ship Scout out of state. A home visit and good vet reference are required to adopt Scout. Scouts adopter must be able to drive to Houston to get him. Contact: jolleyjames@sbcglobal.net.
