We were fortunate that one of our fosters while visiting another state came across Marilyn in a high-kill shelter. Marilyn was in imminent danger. Adorable, affectionate Marilyn is now safe under our rescue roof. Marilyn is happiness and smiles. When her tail wags it sets her entire body in joyful motion! When she is trying to get your attention Marilyn dances on her tiptoes and spins around like a jovial ballerina. Adorable! Marilyn is fine with other dogs, but lights up when she is doted with all the attention. Marilyn's previous owner did not responsibly maintain monthly heartworm prevention for Marilyn. She is currently on a simple protocol that will soon and successfully render her heartworm free. Marilyn is a perfect dog for apartment or condo living. She doesn't expect much. She is quiet and extremely entertaining. Look at her face! Marilyn will be adopted into only a responsible home that understands the importance of good nutrition. We feed our dogs only grain-free high quality foods. After all, they deserve the best.
