Pit Bull Terrier • Young • Male • Large. Petey, approximately 2 years old, 59 lbs, heart worm negative, nice and easygoing, happy and friendly, people oriented, quiet in his kennel, handsome boy, active, playful, loves toys, responsive, intelligent boy, knows the commands sit and shake, happy tail wags, okay being handled as we pulled on his toes and ears but doesn't like his tail pulled so needs to be with kids old enough to know better, he is not rambunctious and probably wouldn’t knock them down, at first the staff thought Petey would chase cats but he responds well to corrections and could probably live with a dog savvy cat that wouldn’t panic and run from him, he really isn’t into other dogs in his space--he is not aggressive, but he wants to be left alone, definitely a more people oriented dog, wants to just lay down next to a person, eager to please, well mannered, good-natured, such a cute smiling face, will bond quickly with his person and be your devoted companion for years to come; this love bug is now neutered and microchipped so his adoption fee with be minimal; while riding in the car he calmly lies down in his crate and ignores the other dogs in the car; he is such a sweetie! Prefers a home without: Young Children • Spayed/Neutered • Current on vaccinations
