My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is a big, handsome full blooded basset hound. He is between 4 and 5 years old and quite healthy. Buddy was adopted to a home and someone was bitten - he's such a sweet dog we never understood why but it did happen. We took him back to our shelter in WV and put him in the in-house prison training program to see if there were any issues. He loved everyone and they loved him with the exception of two men who looked very similar - both were stout, balding and of average height. He never attempted in any way to harm them but he did growl when either of them came around. We can only conclude since he was good with all the other prisoners at the camp, played with and even left the children from the church camp bathe him that perhaps he was mistreated at sometime by a person who looked like this and now reacts when he sees a very similar person. Buddy is living again at the shelter and is good with everyone. We would like to find the right adopter and see him live his life in a home.
