Captain's Story...
Captain is a grown up boy now. He's settled down quite a bit, but still loves to play, chase and wrestle with his kitty friends. He likes the laser, and a good roll in some catnip. He likes a nice head rub, and will even let me pickbhim up now without it turning into a wrestling match. He has even started sleeping on my bed at night now without attacking my toes under the covers. Captain Kidd is a funny, playful, absolutely adorable 1yr old kitty who will brighten your day, and bring joy to your family. He would love to have a cat companion in his new home. Apply to Adopt "The Kidd" today! If interested in adopting Captain, please call and leave a message at 484-323-1134, email us at pldpaws@gmail.com or fill out application online at www.pldpaws.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captain, a Essington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Essington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Essington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Essington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Essington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Essington paves the way for another one to be saved.
