My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NORMAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Norman is a handsome, easy-going and lovely 6 year old, 60 pound, male Yellow Lab looking for a home. This beautiful and gentle boy was originally found as stray in southern IL and unfortunately never claimed What a shame! It's obvious the fellow was someone's much loved companion at some time. Norman is typical retriever and loves making new friends. Norman still has lots of energy and loves to play and for for walks. He's very well behaved in the home and is housetrained and trustworthy when left with free run of the home alone. He's calm, relaxed and very easy-going in the home. Outside, he's more playful and energetic but still listens to his commands. He knows several, including sit, stay, down, come etc. Norm has lived with young children and he's done wonderful with them, but he is protective of his home and family and did not appreciate the children's friends always coming in and and was nervous with all the hustle and bustle of the busy home. Norman would do best in a quieter home. He's currently looking for a foster or forever home. If interested in fostering or adopting, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com **Please note, if interested in fostering, you must be in Chicago or a neighboring suburb**

•Norman's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Norman from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
