Duke (and Daisy)'s Story...
This adorable little hound mix puppy comes from a litter of 5 (2 girls, 3 boys), this little boy has a special blue spot in one of his eyes, which makes him even more adorable! They are very happy, lovable puppies despite having been dumped at a kill shelter by their owner. They came to Bosley's Place, a rescue orphanage for puppies, a little malnourished but are now thriving and super sweet, happy puppies ready to find their forever homes!

UPDATE: Duke and Daisy have been together since birth (July 11, 2015)...living in a foster home together for the past month and have never been apart, we would like to see them adopted together - They are Housetrained, playful, lovable snugglers - they have mastered MANY obedience commands and love to learn - they are beautiful and so is the bond between them. If you're interested in just one puppy, we urge you to consider the pair, they are perfect together, very laid back, simply great puppies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke (and Daisy), a Atlanta Redtick Coonhound/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redtick Coonhound/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Redtick Coonhound/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redtick Coonhound/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Redtick Coonhound/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
