Hello everybody! How's it going? I am Megan. I'm a 3-year-old spayed female Beagle/Hound mix. I weigh about 36 pounds.
Playful, friendly, and sweet are all words that I would use to describe myself. I'm the perfect dog for you if those are things you're looking for in your next canine companion. And trust me when I say, you'll never have a dull moment when I am around. I'm always happy to throw down some play bows or bounce around with excitement. I'm a very happy pup and I can't wait to be part of an active family!
You'd probably be surprised to hear that I once belonged to a homeless man. My owner had several other dogs and some of them were not very nice to me. I'd go as far as to say they were bullies! I would get picked on a lot because I was more submissive than they were.
One day, I found myself at a local high-kill shelter with several of the other dogs I had been living on the streets with. The staff housed us three to a run and I unfortunately got stuck with two of the bullies. It was not a good start to my stay at the shelter. Not that there is anything good at the shelter to begin with.
I spent two weeks at the shelter longing for a reprieve from my kennel mates. Then one day, I got the best news ever! I was leaving to go stay at CageFree. My friends promised that I would never be bullied again and that they will find the perfect forever home for me. I could not have been happier!
