My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Witt (was name after Dallas Cowboys player Wylie Witt) is a 6-year-old mostly white with merle patch Great Dane. He was taken from an unfortunate situation where the owner did not take care of him. He was very thin, full of fleas and ticks and was often roaming the neighborhood. He was in danger of getting shot by other neighbors. A good Samaritan took him in but unfortunately their two dogs did not take kindly to Witt, so Witt needs a new home.

Witt is current on vaccinations. He has not been neutered yet, due to his condition and the fact that he is crypt-orchid. Now that he gained some weigh, he will be going in back to the vet to be neutered. Witt is also HW pos. but he is not showing any clinical sighs, so he will on preventatives, until he is ready for treatment. He currently weighs 120 lbs, but he needs to gain another 10-20 lbs.

Witt is very friendly with other dogs and he is very good with people. He is house broken, good on walks and he knows basic commands. He is very calm in the house. Since he was kept outside, he has large calluses on his elbows from laying on hard surface.

Witt is a good dog and he deserves to be in a home where he will be loved and cared for. If you'd like to give Witt a good home, please fill out the adoption application on our website.
