RHETT's Story...
Oh my, what a cutie pie…so handsome! Rhett is super friendly, loveable, happy and very playful…loves people and gets along great with the other dogs. His Mother is a purebred black Cocker Spaniel and his father was a traveling man. Rhett has the Cocker Spaniel look, only he has short hair, which is a good thing…minimal grooming - no mats or cuckle burrs to comb or cut out. Rhett was born on June 6th. He has been neutered, micro-chipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Rhett is being fostered in Tennessee. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation. Once adopted, Rhett will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Due to state laws, we do not adopt to Maine residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RHETT, a Hartford Cocker Spaniel puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
