Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Feeling better and on the road to recovery! Poor Elsa is a sweet Female Terrier mix that was spotted at the local County dog pound in pain and scared. She did not want to come to me at first but realized we were there to help her. Most of her skin was raw from her mange, and her claws were so long she could barely walk. After a quick run to the vet and a skin scraping, it was determined she had Demodectic (red) mange, which is non-contagious. A soothing medicated bath, some treats and a nice soft bed was all it took for her to realize she was in good hands. Unfortunately now Elsa has shown signs of Epilepsy, and will be started on phenobarbital medication. She needs a special home that will continue to give her the love and care she needs. She is approx. 1 year old, heart worm negative, up to date on all her vaccinations and spayed. Her adoption fee is $50.00. Her ID is DF1507014. An application is available by clicking on the following link >>>

All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, dewormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure.
