Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful dog looks like a cross between a Tibetan Terrier and Afghan Hound. He has the beautiful Afghan tail and stance. He is approx 18 months old and 35 lbs. He has a beautiful thick coat that we had to trim down when we rescued him as he was so matted. He is a very sweet dog, quiet and well behaved. He is a little timid and shy at first, but once he trusts you he is your best friend. He has been for heart worms and he is also on a monthly heart worm preventative. He is fairly well house and leash trained and likes to ride in the car.
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
