Marlin's Story...
Meet adorable and available Marlin, and his mom Sam. Sam was a stray found by good Samaritan, who brought her in and cared for her. A few weeks later, she had her puppies. She also had an injury to her side, which got worse and she had to go on medication which kept her from nursing the puppies. The good Samaritan who found her sent out a message out to rescues asking for help. This is when we stepped up, and took in a few with the puppies to make sure they were getting everything they needed.

Marlin lives with a cat, other dogs and kids. His foster mom reports him to be a sweet little guy. Marlins adoption fee will be $500 and will include his vaccinations, neuter, microchip, Health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marlin, a Chicago Basset Hound/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Golden Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Basset Hound/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Basset Hound/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
