Lulu's Story...
Lulu is a beautiful little sheltie/pom mix who came into rescue with her beautiful brother Bubba. These two are very bonded and we are trying to find them a home where they can stay together. They have beautiful thick coats of hair, are smaller than some shelties but are heavier boned. Lulu has the look of a little girl, very sweet and loving. She is a little taller than Bubba but more feminine looking. They seem to be almost housebroken, are a little bit timid but warm up quickly. They love top play with their toys and would be great companions for children. They are about 9 months old and will be getting spayed or neutered soon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freedom already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freedom breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
