Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Almond is a totally handsome, 10 month old, German Shepherd/Yellow Lab mix that makes for a fabulous combination of looks and personality. This affable boy is a joy to have around at his foster home. All the other foster dogs like him and he even helps round up the puppies at bed time. He is already earning his keep at the “Dog House” which his foster mom lovingly calls her home. Almond is a 63 lb baby himself and he loves to wrap his arms around his foster mom for standup shoulder high hugs. It sure does make her feel special when she comes home from a rough day at work to be loved so much. He is gentle for such a young dog and seems to be housetrained but we caution that since he is a puppy and not perfect. A knuckle bone for him to chew and keep busy with is highly recommended. He seems to like the water as he has a nice kiddy pool to play in during the day. He is crate trained, walks well on a leash and loves car rides. This boy will bring much happiness to any family as he bonds with people that show him love in return. We don't know anything about his past other than we found him in a high kill Tennessee shelter. Alomond’s foster told him he never had to go back there again and that is a promise we intend to keep. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
