Meet Snoopy, a beautiful 19 pound, four year old male Shih Tzu. Snoopy is curious and loves to bounce around the house and yard. He's very athletic and can jump really high. He gets along with his foster sibling dogs and loves his daily walks with them. He's happiest when he can be as close as possible to his foster mom and will do the same with whoever is lucky enough to adopt this boy. He will make you laugh with his daily antics. He is very well mannered and is house trained.
Snoopy's ideal home would be one where he gets a lot of attention and without children younger than twelve. He doesn't like being left at home, so a home where his adopters are around most of the time would be the best for him. He travels in the car very well and sleeps in bed with his foster mom and dogs.
Snoopy is currently being evaluated for possible allergies and will not be available for adoption until after October 15th. But he is otherwise healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $320.00 plus sales tax of $23.28 for a total of $343.28. His foster mom would like to adopt him to a family who lives within a reasonable distance of the Twin Cities, and also encourage his adopters to attend the annual Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion each year.
To meet Snoopy, please complete an adoption application. Or you can also see him and the other dogs available for adoption from Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota by visiting with us from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Minnetonka Petco near Ridgedale the last Saturday of every month.
