Tuck was surrendered along with his sister Tina as pups when the owner didn’t want them anymore. The owner came by the rescue and was told we were full at the time and to check back at the end of the week. That same day the owner took it upon himself to drop off the pups down the street from the rescue in some random yard. The woman’s house that he dropped them off at came to us and we managed to find room for the pups, not knowing what would happen to them if we didn’t. Tuck was bathed, fed and treated for fleas. Both Tuck and his sister grew into sweet loving dogs and enjoy playing with toys as well as each other. Tuck has an exuberant personality that shines when meeting new people. He is a very handsome boy and would be a wonderful companion for a family with older children as sometimes his play style could overwhelm a small child.
Tuck is a Labrador Retriever mix and is about 2½ years old. He is current on all his vaccinations and he is neutered. He is a large dog and he will need to be exercised daily. Though he is quick to learn, Tuck will need to be house trained, and he will need some additional leash training once in his new environment. If you have room in both your heart and your home to give Tuck the attention and love he deserves, please submit an application at www.socorescue.com.
