This sweet little boy deserves his forever family as soon as possible. If Simon could talk, we'd love to ask him how a small, gentle boy like him ended up wandering the back country roads trying to fend for himself. After all, he is sweet as can be, with a tail wag and a big smile for everyone he meets. Thankfully, he was brought to the safety of a rescue group, given lots of love and excellent vet care, and now he's patiently waiting to become someone's new best friend.

His foster mom says: "Simon is an incredibly well-behaved pup. He loves my little boy so much, he follows him around the house and curls up in his lap when my son sits down to watch TV. Simon's very favorite thing to do is lay belly up on the bed for tummy rubs. He enjoys playing with the smaller dogs that aren't so rough with him, and interacts great with the bigger dogs. He LOVES to be around his people!"

We think Simon is about 1 - 2 years old and at just about 20 pounds, he's done growing. With his beautiful markings, we have no idea what his true mix is - - do you? Simon has been successfully treated for heartworms.
