My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*This is a courtesy listing for a private owner* Owner will choose new home for Remy's at their own discretion*

Remy is location in Cleveland, Ohio.

I adopted Remy a little over 4 months ago from the local shelter. At the original meet-n-greet, Remy and my own dog did great - they just ignored each other. But once I brought Remy home, they decided they weren't too fond of each other and they've have a few disputes. I'm so disappointed this isn't working out since Remy is such a GREAT BOY who deserves a happily ever after! I thought I was going to give that to him. Instead, I'm now trying to find him a new home.

Remy is a happy and sweet one and a half year old male pitbull who weighs 50 lbs and could stand to gain another 5 or 10. He loves to hang out with people, chew on his Kong and other fun toys. He is also a great couch cuddler and likes to watch out the window at all the interesting things going on outside. He also likes to greet the school children coming home during his afternoon walks. He doesn't love his crate yet, but he is working on that. He is just sad when he has to be left alone. Remy does get overexcited when he sees other dogs, and for this reason, might do best as the only dog in the home. He is a total love bug looking for his perfect, forever home.

A fenced yard would be great but it's not required because even with a fence, he could jump it. Outdoor supervision is always required.

Remy does have some separation anxiety and is not always quiet when you're not home, so he would not be great for an apartment, condo, or townhome setting where he would bother the neighbors. A single family home is best.

I never tested it but his interest in small animals is too great (high prey drive) so I home with no cats would be best.

Remy is such a beautiful, happy boy. I wish I could keep him but it's simply not fair to either dog.

If you have a space in your home and heart for this gorgeous, gray pit bull, please contact us and we will forward your request to Remy's current owner.
