My story

Hello! My name is Waldo. I am a 1-year-old neutered male Corgi/Chihuahua mix. I weigh approximately 14 pounds.

I'm a super duper sweet, playful, loving pup. I really enjoy sitting in the laps of all my human friends and giving them great big doggy kisses. You probably saw a little taste of my preference for laps in my video. Am I not the cutest thing you've ever seen?! You'd get a lot of attention having me around on your walks!

I'm sure you can imagine my surprise when I found out that my owners were dumping me off at a local high-kill shelter. I was so confused. I thought they loved me. I'm a really well-behaved dog and I love everybody I meet - people and dogs alike! It just didn't make sense to throw me out like a piece of trash. I'm such a good boy that the shelter decided to neuter me before I even had a prospective adopter. That only happens with the best of us!

Can you believe that I spent almost 2 weeks at the shelter? Just when I was starting to lose hope, CageFree heard about me and decided that I needed to be part of their rescue. I could not have been happier! I'm looking forward to starting my new life with a family that will treat me with love and affection and who will never, ever walk out on me. Are you that family?
