My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Terrier/Hound mix, brindle
Terrier/Hound mix, brindle
1 year old
Spayed Female
Adoption fee: $175

Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and a free initial exam by one of many generous veterinary clinics who have donated their service.
Abby came to the shelter on the Petsmart Charities Rescue Waggin' from Mississippi and is ready to find her Wisconsin home. She is as fun and full of personality. She is in a loving foster home so that she can get some extra attention and work on socialization and manners. Her foster parents say that she has learned rings bells to go out sometimes and is very, very good about dropping or stopping what she is doing if she hears ‘NO’. She loves to play with other dogs and is learning to be respectful of their space. Abby can be a little sensitive about loud noises but is becoming more and more confident every day! Being a young girl she will need lots of playtime and exercise, but with some work she will be a fantastic pet.
We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
To meet Abby, call the shelter to set up a time when the foster family can bring her in and meet with you.
