Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Cooper. I'm around 1 year old and I weigh about 45 lbs.
I was found as a stray when I was a puppy by someone in the Salineville area.
The never really did any training with me and eventually, I ended up more or less living in their basement for the past few months.
A lot of neighbors had been complaining about me to the mayor and the police kept receiving complaints as well. The complaints were that I was very skinny and not being cared for.
When the pound went out, they could tell that I was obviously being fed as I am not too thin.
They didn't want to keep me though so they ended up surrendering me to the pound.
I am a very, very sweet and loving boy, but I am young, full of energy and I do still need to learn some manners.
I get along great with other dogs and I would really love to have a playmate.
If you have a little bit of extra time to devote to training me, I am going to be a really excellent dog.
Please consider adopting me.
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER AUGUST 27, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
