Cappy (Neutered)'s Story...
"Cappy" is an adorable 9-month old male Shih Tzu mix who was surrendered by his owner on September 2, 2015. This precious little boy has a beige/brown/cream long smooth coat, a long body, short legs, a long fluffy tail, and a darling Shih Tzu face with a liver-colored nose. "Cappy" has a noticeable underbite which makes him even that much cuter. He has a lovable, affectionate personality and loves his people friends and other dogs. "Cappy" does not do well with toddlers and young children :( He has been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies vaccine. "Cappy" has also been tested (negative) for heartworm. He is a petite little boy who weighs just 15.2 lbs. "Cappy" is housebroken and has recently been groomed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cappy (Neutered), a Marietta Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
