Penny's Story...
Hi, I'm Penny I was found as stray, and brought into the rescue with my kittens. Now that they have all found their homes, I'm still with my foster family waiting for my furever home. I have been living with my foster family for nine months. I love sitting in the window and looking out into the world dreaming of the day I will find my furever family. I am quiet and relaxed. I do love children but, I would love to be the only animal in the home. That way I can get all the attention!

I am up to date on vaccines, dewormed, I have had flea prevention and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. I am already spayed so no more babies for me.

Adoption fee $50.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Woodstock Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
