Maddie's Story...
Maddie aka Maddie Mae is a sweet little love bug. She loves to snuggle and be by your side. She is a little leery of men, but once she gets to know them she loves them as well. Loves to sleep with you. She would be ok with older children, but no young kids to pull ay her. She would love a home with someone who is home a lot.

**If interested please fill out an application on our website www.mendingheartsrescue.org and we can set up a time to meet them, as we are a foster based rescue**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Rockford Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Rockford, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Rockford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockford paves the way for another one to be saved.
