I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Lacey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lacey's Story...
She's a cutie! Lacey was an owner surrender because they were old and she took over, growling at them when she wanted her way about something. She's been a perfect lady with us, so she just needs someone who will be her pack leader. If you don't know what that means, please don't inquire. Lacey is about 2 years old, weighs about 15#.

Lacey has learned to get along with other dogs and cats. This has helped her immensely not to be the only spoiled child.

Lacey is a very good girl who needs a special home, is that you?

This dog's adoption fee is $300 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just email us. If you would like more information on C.A.R.E.S. and our adoption process, please read our webpage by clicking on our name. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Wyoming Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Wyoming, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Wyoming.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wyoming already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wyoming breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wyoming paves the way for another one to be saved.
