6/14/08 Chase has arrived in Maine and when she came off transport we were all so surprised how beautiful she is! She has a dark honey colored coat and is very sweet. She is all lab too and will need some basic obedience and leash training. She seems to love everyone- dogs and people and is very food motivated.
5/13/08 Poor Chase has had a rough start in life. We'd really like to bring her north so that she can find a forever home where she will get lots of love and attention.Can you please help?
Chase has quite a history...she 's originally from a shelter that had no one working there for 5 days (25 dogs died and she was in her kennel trying to nurse her dead pups and then the family that adopted her locally after the shelter fiasco lost their home in a tornado.
She is a red lab mix around 1-2 years, around 65 lbs or so. She is up to date with everything, spayed and HW negative for sure:) She loves the water and loves to run and play fetch. Her foster family says, "She gets along with the gang here, large and small, male or female. She will chase after cats and will climb a fence to get to humans. When she does that, she ends up on our porch just hanging out waiting for someone:)"
