Update 6/28/08 - Carson is such a sweetie. He is doing wonderfully at his foster home! He plays very nicely with the female dog in the home (who could be his twin only smaller). His favorite game is to grab her leash and take her for a walk!
Carson is a nice sized dog, weighing 50 lbs. He is friendly, outgoing and full of love. He also enjoys playing fetch (must be the Lab in him).
Carson has unusual coloring - He is white with yellow/golden highlights,red spots/freckles around his ears and beautiful hazel eyes.
This boy is a true gem - He would make a great family dog. Please come meet him!
When I picked Carson up at transport, he was calm, cool and collected. He is such a Sweetheart! He rides great in the car too! He would make a wonderful addition to your family!
Carson is such a sweet boy- must have some lab in him as he is has boxy lab shaped head and is playful like a lab but not too bouncy either. He is so sweet and really wants to find that special family to call his own. Here is what his foster mom has to say about him..."Carson is such a good dog, needs some work on obedience training but will continue to work with him. He walks like a champ on leash. He is very energetic, but will listen and settle down most often. I think he will make someone a fantastic pet. He seems to get along with just about anyone. "
Carson has been at a kill shelter in the South for the last several months and now needs to get out before he is put downat the shelter says about Carson...
6-1-08 Carson is three years old and is a German Shepherd mix. He has a gorgeous fluffy white coat with some wisps of beige on his back. Carson is such an affectionate dog! He loves to give kisses! Carson has interacted with volunteers of all ages and does fine with other dogs. He loves to go for walks and savors his playtime in the shelter yard. Carson enjoys a good game of fetch. He is also housebroken!
When you walk by his kennel, Carson will leap up and down with awesome moves that rival an NBA Superstar for their height and agility! This always gets him a walk and a treat! He is such a happy-go-lucky dog and one of our favorites.
Carson is very bright and should be easy to train. "
