Meet Jenny! This sweet girl has an easy-going personality that immediately wins the heart of just about anyone (dogs and people!) she meets. Jenny was originally brought to the shelter by animal control for being loose. Although she must have had a family, no one came to claim her as their own. Jenny didn’t let that get her down! She happily made puppy friends at the shelter and quickly became a staff favorite. After a couple months at the shelter with no luck, a foster volunteer decided to take her home until she could find her forever family. Jenny loves going on long walks around the neighborhood, playing with the other household dogs, and taking naps with her people. It is apparent that her previous family didn’t work with her very much, but she is slowly, but surely picking up on those house manners! Jenny is also a major kisser. She will approach a dog and immediately start licking them in the mouth as if she’s trying to clean all 42 teeth!
At around a year old, Jenny weighs in the 40-pound range and will mostly likely not do any more growing, making her a great size for an active household! Being such a big puppy, additional training is a must. Luckily, this girl is a big people-pleaser, so she will quickly learn for a treat or even just a “good girl!”. Her submissive personality allows her to fit nicely in just about any pack, but she would also do okay as an only-dog. All this girl wants is a family that will love her almost as much as she will love them! Won’t you be that family?
All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
