My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casper is the happiest dog in the world!!! He even does happy dances to prove it. Casper will be 14 years old soon, but has the energy of a 5 year old. He is "special needs" because he has had slipped discs and takes very careful handling. He also has Dry Eye and needs medicated eye drops twice a day.

Boo has been around children and gets along great with them. Due to his back, we recommend a household without small children in the home or visiting.

Casper gets along with all other dogs, but cannot be with rowdy dogs, due to his back. Another small dog that would play gently would be fine. He totally ignores cats.

Casper's teeth had been totally neglected, so when he came into rescue, he had to have all of them removed. His tongue now hangs out sometimes, but we think it gives him character.

Adopter would need to treat Casper with care when picking him up, carrying him, no stairs, no jumping on or off furniture, or any other activities that would cause more back problems. We treat him like he's made of glass.

But he's happy, happy, happy, and loves everybody!

He's house-trained!
